In short: you don't sign up, we only measure visits in general, and we don't keep any video you convert.
What we record
- Conversions. For each lookup or download we log the YouTube video ID, the quality, whether it worked, the file size and how long it took. This tells us when something breaks.
- Page counts. We count how many times each page is opened and from which country. The country comes from the network, not from your device's location.
- Your IP address. It is used for a short time to apply the daily limit and stop abuse. Those counters are deleted within two days.
What we never do
- Store the videos you download. The MP4 is put together on the fly and sent straight to you.
- Sell or share personal data with anyone.
- Ask for your name, email or an account to use the converter.
Services we use
The site runs behind Cloudflare. Cloudflare Turnstile may check that a request comes from a person, and Cloudflare's own privacy policy covers that.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they open and roughly where they come from. It may set cookies to tell repeat visits apart. In the EU, UK and Switzerland it runs without analytics cookies. We don't send it the videos you convert or anything that identifies you. Google's privacy policy covers how it handles this data.
Ads
There are no ads on YT to MP4 today. If we add them, we will update this page first and explain what the ad provider collects.
